Hand-crafted end-grain cutting board made of hard maple and walnut in checker board pattern and assembled with FDA approved, water-proof glue, and treated with FDA approved salad bowl finish for protection.

Cutting boards such as this end-grain cutting board are very durable and will not dull your knife edges. Instead of crushing against the surface, the blade goes between the fibers of the cutting board, leaving less knife marks on the board and a sharper blade.  In addition, wooden cutting boards are proven to have antibacterial properties which can make them safer then glass or plastic cutting boards.

Well-built and cared for cutting boards, especially an end-grain board, can live with you and your family for generations well maintaining their attractive appearance.

If desired, screwed-in rubber feet can be added.
